Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Payments for Sensory Profile Assessments are nonrefundable after 24 hours from booking. If you need to change your appointment time, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an assessment appointment are subject to a $50 late cancellation fee. Emergency situations are the only exception.

A reschedule may be available when another appointment time is available on that day. When a reschedule is confirmed and time is available, the late cancellation fee for that appointment is waived.

Mental Health Assessments follow the same 24-hour cancellation standard. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a $50 late cancellation fee, except in emergency situations.

If availability allows, you may reschedule your assessment for a different time on that same day. A confirmed reschedule waives the late cancellation fee for that appointment.

Therapy sessions cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a late cancellation fee. The applicable fee is determined by the platform used for your care at the time of the appointment, including SonderMind or Grow Therapy. Emergency situations are the only exception.

Reserved appointment times are held specifically for you and are no longer available for another client to book. This policy helps ensure that appointment times are used thoughtfully and that your therapist’s time is fairly compensated when an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with insufficient notice.

Please contact Openness With Therapy as soon as possible if you need to cancel or request a reschedule. Availability for rescheduled appointments cannot be guaranteed.
